Fall is here! Yay! I’ve found like 30 different species of mushroom. More! 30 that iNaturalist’s Seek could identify. I think these are mower’s mushrooms, but Abe took the photo, so I’m not sure.
Book earrings. You can’t read the ones below. But I’m also making some you can. They are super duper cute. Below are all public domain book covers. A fair good set of them are Nancy Drewe, which, weirdly, I never read.
More Inktober. This has been a very busy month, so I am not entirely keeping up, but I am still doing them. I will do something for each prompt. And I will write a couple fiction lines for each. Uh…before the end of the year. How’s that?
OMG, you guys. I discovered desert rain frogs, the cutest frogs to ever frog. Expect to see more.
Ha! I completely forgot to take in-process shots for this one. I think I was busy watching Tacoma FD. Very funny show.
Open Book is coming this Sunday, Nov 3, noon to 5. I have a bunch of new things for sale, including lots of bookmarks. These items will go up for sale in November sometime after Open Book for everyone. I have been experimenting a lot with felt and pastels and paint pens.
OK, so Gorogoa (a video game) might be kinda old. I even started playing it way back sometime I can’t remember when. But it was on my PC and I just have a harder time getting hooked on games alone in my office. Anyway, I found it on the Switch recently and played through it so fast. I loved it! What a lovely looking game. Beautiful (if lo-res) art. Weird story. Fun mechanics I haven’t seen elsewhere: you move pictures around in four slots to make things line up and find frames, while zooming in and out on each image. Very interesting.
I hope your day gets better from here!
