Robots and tapirs

That's two of my favorite things!

What?! The holidays are here?! It always sneaks up on me. Keep an eye out. I have a bunch of stuff to add to my StoreEnvy shop in the next week, including those book charms and some bookmarks I made for Open Book. And maybe some Krmniss cards (or Christmas cards as they might be better known).

I actually drew this at the end of my first year at The Center for Cartoon Studies, but it is up in my shop again. I love this piece, Imitatus anima: Elementorum. Still one of my favorite comics I ever made. Below is the first page of the collection of four stories. The original had a screen-printed cover but the current edition has a lovely watercolor cover.

I made these tapir-ish guys ages ago and so now they are for sale.

I just can’t even. My favorite waffles between Delight, Corgir, and Sneeze, depending on which one I am currently looking at. It’s the teeth! As with the Froggos, these are $25 each.

Oh man. I haven’t been reading too much but I have been playing more games. And this one I played on my phone: Chuchel. This is such a ridiculous and cute game. You play a little fluff of red with a hat. Who is very angry about his cherry being stolen. And then you just go through solving puzzles to try to get it back. Absolutely amazing art and character design. They even have a Chuchel stuffed toy in their store!

I love everything I have played from this game designer, Amanita Designs. They also made Machinarium (got me started down this path into their games), Creaks (great design but too repetitive for me), Botanicula (playing it now and LOVING it; so, so cute), and Pilgrims (one of the most interesting game styles I have seen). So everything they have made is on my to-play list or my played list.
