I went to the Seattle Aquarium with a bunch of friends this summer and it was a blast! Only one other person joined me in actually interacting with the touch tanks. But I am not surprised.
As the subtitle promises, this will be a short post because I have forgotten most of what I learned. Which includes the interesting facts from the aquarium staff who told me all about sea cucumber poop and eating.
However, if you want to receive snail mail with weird nature facts and doodle drawings, you can sign up for my Patreon at the $10 level. Or for less you can just get a lot of my art a week or more early.

The Text:
Hi!
My neighbors are playing loud rock late into the evening and upsetting my poor puppy, Wallace. Which for some reason makes me think of hammer-headed fruit bats (Hypsignathus monstrosus). A mega bat (or an Old World bat) from West & Central Africa.
HONK
The males make a large honking sound. Their larynx is so big it fills most of their chest, displaying organs. And their large sinuses help increase the volume as a resonating chamber.
Cheers,
Angela
Armful of Update
Still working on the carpal/cubital tunnel. It is slowly but surely getting better. I don’t know how this will affect my art. Drawing loosely highlights how shaky my hands are but my occupational therapist might have some hand exercises for me if that is the problem. That’s all for now.
Stay curious,
Angela
