Wait—who’s Angela?

I’m a cartoonist, book designer, author, proofreader, and other things related to the production of books. The Brazilian tapir is my favorite animal, only partly because it has a mohawk.

I am the author of Maker Comics: Live Sustainably out from First Second in 2022 and run the natural science comic anthology Awesome ‘Possum (four volumes so far). You can read all of my comics (as well as some prose stories and grab some games to play) on my site.

Join the herd

Well, if I’m referencing tapirs, they are solo creatures. But they meet up every once in a while for reasons that have nothing to do with my work (wink, wink). I’ll appear in your inbox more often than tapirs meet up, and for a far different reason: sharing pics and stuff! Tapirs are too much wallflowers to want to share their photos.
